To power novel creation tools and our interactive reader companion, BookMadeByAI interfaces with third-party generative artificial intelligence and machine learning inference providers.
Dynamic Model Ecosystem: We do not commit to a permanent, fixed list of AI providers. As generative AI technology advances, we may integrate, modify, replace, or transition between reputable model providers (such as Google, DeepSeek, Anthropic, OpenAI, Meta, OpenRouter, and other specialized model hosts) without altering this core commitment.
Data Transmitted to AI Providers: When you initiate an AI action—such as generating a hook, drafting a scene, fleshing out character entries, generating titles, or asking the "Ask AI" reader companion a question—only information reasonably necessary to fulfill that specific request is transmitted to the AI provider.
Contents of Prompts: Prompts transmitted to AI providers necessarily contain user-supplied information relevant to the task. This may include your story premise, outline notes, chapter text, character details, topics, names, and conversational reader queries. We do not claim that user prompts are stripped of all context or completely anonymized, because the AI model requires that very context to generate relevant creative or factual prose.
No Public Training on Private Drafts: We interface with AI providers using enterprise/developer API tiers subject to contractual terms that do not permit the provider to use your private draft manuscripts, personal annotations, or private queries to train public foundation models without authorization.
